Two weeks in and two weeks to go! Another stretch goal unlocked!

I'm floored by the response to this campaign!
We just unlocked another stretch goal which means everyone at the $35 level and above will also get a 6x9 art print by The Brothers Hildebrandt! This was originally the cover of my self-published Astounding Space Thrills #2 and it remains one of my favorite depictions of the characters. You may know Greg & Tim Hildebrandt from their now-classic Star Wars poster and their stunning depictions of The Lord of the Rings.
The next stretch goal - and it feels like it's within reach - will be more pages in the book which is great for every backer at every level! <3
A cartooning milestone for Steve...

This first project is a bit darker than my Astounding Space Thrills and definitely not for the kids. I'm such a fan of Eric Powell's cartooning. The lighting. The figure work. The textures. His series The Goon is one of my favorites. Eric has launched his first Kickstarter. He's working with Harold Schechter - author of true crime classics including Deviant and The Serial Killer Files— on an original 200-page graphic novel about one of the most notorious murderers in American history...

In a brighter vein is TUKI by Jeff Smith. Jeff is the amazing cartoonist behind the hit series Bone! I love, love, love Jeff's work and he keeps outdoing himself. As his campaign page describes TUKI, "The ancient world was filled with restless and powerful spirits. Two million years ago, new forces began to stir...and everything changed." And like Eric, this is Jeff's first Kickstarter. Check out this cover...

I'm so excited to share that the next stretch goal will be an art print featuring a painting by legendary artists Greg and Tim Hildebrandt!

I'm overwhelmed by the kind response! I was fighting hardware problems over the weekend (my faithful iPad Pro seems to be on its last legs after five years of stellar performance) and occasionally, while I was dealing with tech support, my phone would light up with the alert about a new backer and everything was right with the world. :)
We've now unlocked four stretch goals!
The next project update will include a preview of the art print and I can say that the $12k stretch goal will be more pages in the book!

We launched just after noon yesterday and, 24 hours later, we're now at 200% of our goal!
I'm absolutley stunned by the response and I'm extra happy that so many people are getting the shirts! :D
We've now unlocked three of the stretch goals!

Thank you all so much! I'm, well, astounded!
- We've been selected as one of Kickstarter's Projects We Love!
- We hit the goal in just one hour!
- We're just three hours in and have already unlocked two stretch goals! I'm now putting the graphics together for additional stretch goals (including more pages in the book!)!
I honestly wasn't sure if there would be much interest in a collection of my older webcomics, but the response is overwhelming!
